WHY VOLUNTEER?

As followers of Jesus, we are called to share the Gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20), and to encourage one another to grow in faith (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Camp RALIO gives you a unique opportunity to live that out by spending time with students, building relationships, having fun together, and pointing students to Jesus, no matter what role you serve in at camp.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Come ready to serve, grow, and live out your faith.

THE COMMITMENT

Serving at Camp RALIO is an opportunity to invest in students and help create an environment where campers can have fun, grow, and hear about Jesus.

Our volunteers are crucial to this ministry. We ask each volunteer to come ready to serve, participate fully in camp, and put the needs and safety of our campers first. You’ll be part of a Christ-centered team working together to create a safe and memorable camp experience.

VOLUNTEER COSTS

There is no cost to volunteer at Camp RALIO so that money is not a barrier to serving. Our volunteers generously give their time and energy to invest in students and help make camp possible.

Some counselors may choose to spend their own money on things like cabin decorations, games, or other items to help make the cabin experience special. Counselors should check with their Cabin Leader before purchasing items for their cabin.

While there is no cost to volunteer, there is a real cost to RALIO Ministries for every volunteer who serves at camp. If you are able, please consider giving to our General Fund to help cover those costs and keep camp as affordable as possible for families.

Campers of volunteers also qualify for a $70 discount on their total camp registration cost.
